About

Welcome to insecurewi.re an IT networking and security blog.
My name is Nick Eoannidis and I have been a computer networking and security enthusiast for as long as I can remember. My key interests in the networking and security fields are:

Switching / Routing / Wireless
Datacentre Networking / Virtualization / Software Defined Networking / Network Functions Virtualization

Network Security / Network Monitoring and Management
Penetration Testing / Hacking Techniques

I am a trained and qualified network engineer. After completing my BSc in Internetworking and Security at University, I worked hard to acquire a few certifications to endorse my skill sets with product vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Riverbed and Palo Alto Networks.
I like to complete the certification once I design and implement a product set from a vendor. I currently hold the position of Senior Network Engineer for a college in my home town of Fremantle, Western Australia.

I created insecurewi.re to blog about my experiences in the networking industry, I have used so many tutorials, fixes and tips from IT based blogs and sites on the internet, so I figured it was time to give back to the community.
